Acid Tanks

GRP Acid Tanks are industrial storage units designed for the safe containment of acids and aggressive chemicals with high corrosive effects.

At Tempo Kompozit, we manufacture custom GRP acid tanks tailored to different acid types, concentrations, and operating conditions.

Made from Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) and using appropriate resin systems, these tanks provide high chemical resistance. They offer strong durability against sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and many other chemicals.

The interior surfaces of the tanks are smooth and homogeneous to prevent sediment buildup, facilitating cleaning and maintenance. The exterior surfaces are UV-resistant, suitable for outdoor conditions, and can be produced in desired RAL colors. Tanks can be designed as monoblock or modular (flanged) structures, for aboveground or underground applications.

Compared to metal tanks, GRP acid tanks are lightweight, making transportation and installation easier. Their corrosion resistance minimizes maintenance needs and ensures a long service life. Tanks can be delivered complete with equipment such as level indicators, manhole covers, vent outlets, fill and discharge nozzles, and overflow protection systems.

All tanks are manufactured according to project specifications, taking into account static, internal pressure, and vacuum calculations, and undergo leak-tightness and quality control tests after production.
